Christmas at The White House 2017

All I can say is, "Wow!"
Walking In - There were tiny lights on the
branches that you can't see. Very pretty.

We started on the ground floor with the Library,
Vermeil, and China rooms. You can only look
into these rooms.

Pictures taken from inside
The White House.

The East Room
Martha and George Washington

There are four fireplaces in this room,
two on each side. They are on the side of
the Washington's portraits.

The Nativity

Then onto the Green, Red, and Blue
rooms, which you can walk through.

State of Idaho Seal ornament.  I could not
find the Washington one.

The Stateroom - you can't tell but
this is as big as the East Room.

Gingerbread Whitehouse
Upstairs to The Grand Foyer

Sister Karren/Elder Jarrard

Out the back door.

Then a bathroom trip across the street to the
Willard Intercontinental.

Top left square has the seal of Idaho.

Mount Vernon Gingerbread House - took 300 hours to build,
weighs 250 lbs., 50 lbs. of powdered sugar, 100 lbs. of salt
dough, 75 lbs. of flour, and over 1,000 fondant tiles.
