Laurie and Craig Visit - March 6th

Laurie and Craig came to visit.  It was wonderful to be with them.  They spent three days on their own, and froze on two of them. We all went to Jefferson's Monticello, George Washington's Mount Vernon, The National Cathedral, and the Washington D.C. Temple Visitor's Center.  Craig found us an Irish Pub, Sine Irish Pub and Resturant, where we had a wonderful Irish meal.

Thomas Jefferson invented or improved on many things:
iron hillside plow, dumbwaiter, swivel chair,
and rotating book stand.

An invention of Thomas Jefferson, the Great Clock, which told the time
and the day of the week. The following pictures show weighted balls that
went all the way down to the basement that counted the days of the week.
Don't ask me how it worked.

Thomas Jefferson's office, where he has a polygraph, which was a copy
machine that would make a second copy using two pens.
