Abraham Lincoln Presidental Library and Museum, Springfiield, Ohio

After we left Kirtland we drove to Springfield, Ill. to see the Abraham Lincoln Museum. You walk through the different "phases" of  President Lincoln's life. The original Gettysburg Address, a signed copy of the Emancipation Proclamation, Mary Todd's wedding dress, and the Ford's Theatre box seat where President Lincoln was shot.  There were two theater presentations with amazing special effects.  It was wonderful.  What a treat!
